Description
This article deals with the Constitutional and revolutionary process in Portugal, which began with the fall of the Salazarist dictatorship. The text highlights particularly how the tensions born in the core of the dictatorship influenced the making of the new Constitution. The text also tries to explain the nature, deficiencies and characteristics particular to the process, under the democratic theory.
Este artículo pretende abordar el proceso constituyente y revolucionario portugués que se inicia con la caída de la dictadura salazarista, haciendo especial hincapié en cómo las tensiones que se dan en su seno influyen en la elaboración de su nueva Constitución. Con ello, se intentará aclarar la naturaleza, deficiencias y características identificadoras del proceso, a la luz de la teoría democrática.
