| dc.description | The object of this paper is to analyze Strategic Performance Management Systems (SPMS) against two of the key success factors of contemporary business: Competitiveness and sustainability. The methodology consisted of a review of the literature on this subject within the most world renowned journals, shaping categories of analysis and synthesis related to deductive-inductive processes. There were great theoretical and empirical developments, especially in developed countries. The review concluded that SPMS have become management tools with powerful results if used with efficiently, effectively and economically. Also, its success depends on factors such as design and implementation, participation of partners in the structuring, and efficiency of the information system that they are using. | en-US |
| dc.description | La presente ponencia tiene como objetivo el análisis de los Sistemas de Medición del Desempeño Estratégico (Strategic Performance Management Systems) frente a dos de los llamados factores claves de éxito empresarial contemporáneo: Competitividad y Sustentabilidad. La metodología consistió en una revisión de la literatura sobre el tema, realizada en los journals de mayor prestigio a nivel mundial, conformando categorías de análisis y síntesis relacionadas en procesos deductivo-inductivos. Se encontraron grandes desarrollos teóricos y empíricos esencialmente en países desarrollados. Se concluye que los SMDE se han convertido en herramientas gerenciales con poderosos resultados si se utilizan con eficiencia, eficacia y economicidad. Asimismo, su éxito depende de factores como la forma de diseñarlos e implementarlos, la participación de los colaboradores en su estructuración y la eficiencia del sistema de información con que se cuente. | es-ES |
