Abstract

La investigación muestra un avance teórico – práctico de la aplicación de la técnica nuclear con el objetivo de analizar y cuantificar la concentración de sedimentos en suspensión, parámetro fundamental en el control de la erosión y el manejo integral de las cuencas hidrográficas. Ofrece información acerca de los conceptos básicos en materia de radiactividad, protección radiológica, efectos biológicos y operación de fuentes radiactivas con el propósito de trascender y divulgar la aplicación de la técnica en el campo de la Ingeniería Ambiental The investigation shows a theoretical advance - practical of the application of the nuclear technique with the objective of to analyze and to quantify the concentration of silts in suspension, fundamental parameter in the control of the erosion and the integral handling of the basins hydrographics. This offers information about the basic concepts as regards radioactivity, radiological protection, biological effects and operation of radioactive sources with the purpose of to transcend and to disclose the application of the technique in the field of the Environmental Engineering
