dc.description.abstractEl objetivo del siguiente artículo de investigación es analizar el fenómeno de los asesinatos a miembros de la comunidad LGBTIQ+ por parte del Frente Fronteras de las Autodefensas Unidas de Colombia en Cúcuta y el Área Metropolitana durante el periodo 1999 – 2004; para lo cual se realiza un abordaje teórico conceptual de los crímenes de odio y la heteronormatividad; la metodología se sustenta en un análisis documental que permite describir los hechos. Los resultados revelan que la inclusión del prejuicio y el elemento de odio en las acciones violentas de los paramilitares es reflejo de la profunda aversión hacia la diversidad y la negación de la humanidad de quienes son percibidos como diferentes, constituyéndose desde lo conceptual como crímenes de odio. En este trabajo se evidencia, además, que los crímenes de odio hacia la comunidad LGBTIQ+, lejos de desaparecer, se siguen repitiendo, y en su centro, el orden heteronormativo, otrora bajo la forma del “orden paramilitar”, sigue operando a través de las nervaturas sociales generando exclusión, odio, prejuicio, muerte y violencia.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThe objective of the following research article is to analyze the phenomenon of murders of members of the LGBTIQ+ community by the Frente Fronteras of the AUC in Cúcuta and the Metropolitan Area during the period 1999 - 2004; for which a theoretical conceptual approach to hate crimes and heteronormativity is carried out; the methodology is based on a documentary analysis that describe the facts. The results reveal that the inclusion of prejudice and the element of hate in the violent actions of paramilitaries is a reflection of the deep aversion towards diversity and the denial of the humanity of those who are perceived as different, constituting, conceptually, true hate crimes. This work also shows that hate crimes against the LGBTIQ+ community, far from disappearing, continue to be repeated, and at their core, the heteronormative order, once in the form of the “paramilitary order”, continues to operate through social structures generating exclusion, hatred, prejudice, death and violence. 1spa
