| dc.description | El presente artículo busca revisar la legislación vigente en Colombia en defensa de los animales. El artículo emplea los métodos analítico y comparativo de investigación. Para el efecto, fue necesario revisar el marco legal internacional, la Constitución Política de 1991 y el marco normativo local. Como hallazgos se puede mencionar la incorporación de normas internacionales a nuestro ordenamiento jurídico, así como en la Constitución de 1991.
