Propuesta de diseño para la expansion de la planta de potabilizzacion de agua del municipio de sibate (cundinamarca)

Abstract

El municipio de Sibaté, (Cundinamarca)1, actualmente cuenta con un sistema de acueducto y alcantarillado, el cual cumple con el abastecimiento de agua potable para toda la población; pero este sistema está llegando a su máximo alcance de aforo para el cual fue diseñado (SENA , 2012), por lo tanto se hace necesario plantear un sistema capaz de cumplir con el abastecimiento de la población de dicho municipio. En el tiempo de diseño de acuerdo a su nivel de complejidad. Por tal motivo se propone diseñar la expansión para la planta de agua potable del municipio, para así de esta manera lograr elevar la calidad de vida actual y asegurar el bienestar de las poblaciones futuras (UNICEF, 2014) a causa de la problemática expresada anteriormente se hace necesario la reformulación de la planta de agua naturales. Debido al constante crecimiento poblacional y a la expansión territorial del municipio en los últimos años2 (DANE, 2014), por la construcción de viviendas, grandes urbanizaciones y demás proyectos urbanísticos, tanto privados como en el sector de interés social, en la actualidad el sistema se encuentra trabajando a su máxima capacidad del diseño, razón por la cual se hace necesaria una disminución en la capacidad del sistema de acueducto y alcantarillado, evidenciándose una desvalorización de la calidad de vida de los pobladores y otros allegados al municipio que cuentan con el servicio de agua potable, proveniente del proceso de la planta de agua (EL AGUA POTABLE, 2013) del municipio.
