This article addresses matters regarding the evolution, aided by the laws and the Courts’ various statements and rulings, the de facto marriages have had, “defined as the relationship existing between a man and a woman that without being married to each other, live together meaning that ”they share the same roof, bed and house”. However, by cohabitating and sharing their lives together, the law and jurisprudence grants them marriage related benefits but not necessarily meaning that the two legal concepts are equal.
El presente escrito, trata lo concerniente a la evolución que ha tenido través de las normas y los distintos pronunciamientos de las Cortes la relación de parejas en unión de hecho, “que es la que existe entre un hombre y una mujer sin estar casados, tienen una vida en común, quiere decir; comparten techo, lecho y casa”. No obstante, por el hecho de tener una convivencia en común la ley y la jurisprudencia le han otorgado algunos beneficios reglados para el matrimonio, sin que este consagre, igualdad entre las dos figuras jurídicas.
