Deseo: Otra Forma de Decir Filosofía (Análisis e interpretación del concepto de deseo en el los discursos de Aristófanes, Agatón y Sócrates en el Symposium de Platón)

Abstract

Afirmar que el Banquete platónico es una de las obras clave del mundo antiguo y de mayor altura literaria puede considerarse un lugar común, y no será objeto de este texto alabar la belleza de la obra platónica. El tema de la investigación aquí presentada es el concepto de deseo en el Symposium de Platón, a partir del cual es posible preguntarse si dicho concepto tiene algo que ver con la definición de filosofía que el autor hace en el texto. Estas primeras páginas de orden introductorio se desarrollan para matizar este interrogante y se organizan de la siguiente forma: en primer lugar, serán presentados al lector, varios aspectos generales y curiosidades de la obra que he considerado importantes para su conocimiento general de la misma. En segundo lugar, se presentará la hipótesis que ha guiado esta indagación y sus desarrollos metodológicos y conceptuales. Finalmente, en una tercera parte se presenta grosso modo la estructura del texto completo, dando paso a su desarrollo por capítulos. To affirm that the Platonic Banquet is one of the key works of the ancient world and of higher literary height can be considered a common place, and it will not be the object of this text to praise the beauty of the Platonic work. The theme of the research presented here is the concept of desire in Plato's Symposium, from which it is possible to ask if this concept has something to do with the definition of philosophy that the author makes in the text. These first pages of introductory order are developed to clarify this question and are organized as follows: first, the reader will be presented several general aspects and curiosities of the work that I have considered important for their general knowledge of the same. Second, the hypothesis that guided this inquiry and its methodological and conceptual developments will be presented. Finally, in a third part the structure of the whole text is presented roughly, giving way to its development by chapters.
