The research work, from which this article stems, aims to define the concepts of peace and justice for Colombia, the present article studies the experience from other countries and presents how the concept of transitional justice evolved in those countries linked to the historic transformations and societies’ particularities where it is applied. Based on this, we analyze the definitions that other countries have given to the concepts of justice and peace, plus we also study the regulatory and jurisprudential framework in Colombia.
La investigación de la cual se desprende este artículo tiene como objetivo definir los conceptos de paz y de justicia para Colombia, a partir del análisis de la experiencia de otros países. Teniendo en cuenta este objetivo, el presente artículo busca exponer la evolución del concepto de justicia transicional, atado a las transformaciones históricas y a las particularidades de las sociedades donde se aplica. Dado lo anterior, se analizan los contenidos o imaginarios que desde otros países se han dado a los conceptos de justicia, verdad y paz, y se hace un estudio del marco normativo y jurisprudencial en Colombia.
