Guía de buenas prácticas para la implementación de producción más limpia para la pequeña industria del sector ladrillero

Abstract

La industria ladrillera reúne a las empresas que extraen y transforman el material arcilloso. Los problemas ambientales que genera esta industria están relacionados con incompatibilidad con los usos del suelo y con sus actividades productivas que afectan el aire, el agua y el suelo. El presente estudio tiene como principal objetivo presentar una guía, donde se puedan identificar y evaluar los impactos ambientales generados en las pequeñas ladrilleras y chircales mecanizados, así como plantear estrategias y alternativas de prevención y mitigación de estos impactos, dirigidos a una Producción Mas Limpia, también se pretende promover y facilitar la adopción de dicho sistema de gestión medio ambiental. Esta guía surge a partir de la realización de un diagnóstico técnico, tecnológico y ambiental, el cual sirvió como soporte del material presentado en la misma. Después de analizar el diagnóstico y la evaluación de impactos más significativos, se determinaron las alternativas mas viables para la aplicación de PML. El desarrollo industrial futuro basado en la Producción Más Limpia acercaría la actividad industrial al encuentro con el criterio de desarrollo industrial ambientalmente sostenible, ya que ambos reducirían las cargas contaminantes e incrementaría la eficiencia en la utilización de la energía y materias primas. La aplicación de Producción Mas Limpia en ladrilleras es una opción mucho mas sostenible y atractiva que eliminar o mitigar la contaminación una vez que esta sea producida; bebido que tratar los residuos después de generados aumenta los costos en las industrias y el problema no disminuye. Las recomendaciones que contempla la Guía son de aplicabilidad voluntaria y genérica.

The industry brickmaker reunites to the companies that extract and transform the argillaceous material. The environmental problems that this industry generates are related to mutual incompatibility with the uses of the ground and their productive activities that affect the air, the water and the ground. The present study has as main objective to present/display a guide, where the environmental impacts generated in the small brickmakers and mechanized chircales can be identified and be evaluated, as well as to raise strategies and alternatives of prevention and mitigación of these impacts, directed to a Clean Production But, also is tried to promote and to facilitate the adoption of this system of environmental average management. This guide arises from the accomplishment of a technical, technological and environmental diagnosis, which served like support of the material presented/displayed in the same one. After analyzing the diagnosis and the evaluation of more significant impacts, the viable alternatives but for the application of PML were determined. The future industrial development based on the Cleanest Production would approach the industrial activity the encounter with the criterion of environmentally sustainable industrial development, since both would reduce the polluting loads and would increase the efficiency in the use of the energy and raw materials. The application of Clean Production But in brickmakers is a sustainable and much attractive option but that to eliminate or to mitigate the contamination once this is produced; drunk which to treat the generated remainders after it increases the costs in the industries and the problem it does not diminish. The recommendations that Gui'a contemplates are of voluntary and generic applicability.
