| dc.description | The strengthening of the metalworking industry in Colombia has an undeniable growth and potential, however its growth has happened in small periods of time, the present is one of them, but not in long run due to the lack of a comprehensive policy that would allow to take the benefits that this sector could produce. The similarities of the decisions and the outputs in Latín America and Southeast Asia, unlike the current northeast Asían powers (poorer than South America just 40 years ago) show the lack of strategy and integrated tactics to consolidate an exporter, innovative and efficient sector, beyond the traditional products. | en-US |
| dc.description | EI f ortalecimiento de la industria metalmecánica en Colombia tiene un innegable crecimiento y potencial; sin embargo, su crecimiento ha ocurrido por pequeños episodios, el presente es uno de ellos, y no por periodos prolongados gracias a la carencia de una política integral que permitiera explotar los beneficios que este sector podría generar. La similitud en decisiones y resultados de Latino América y el Sur Este asiático, en contraposición con las actuales potencias asiáticas (que hace 40 años eran más pobres que Sur América) muestran una clara falta de estrategia y tácticas integradas para la consolidación de un sector exportador, innovador y eficiente que vaya más allá de los productos tradicionales. | es-ES |
