dc.descriptionAcross the present article we will study two public institutions like the Department of the Environment and Sustainable Development and the Autonomous Regional Corporations. We will mention some general aspects of both institutions as its nature, creation and normative frame, and will analyze its functions. With base in the previous thing, we will determine if they have the same functions and if the need persists of that both institutions continue exercising the control, the vigilance and the follow-up of the activities of exploitation of the natural resources and preservation of environment in our country, or if on the contrary, one of them should be dispensed or missed.en-US
dc.descriptionA través del presente artículo estudiaremos dos instituciones públicas como lo son el Ministerio del Medio Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible y las Corporaciones Autónomas Regionales. Mencionaremos algunos aspectos generales de ambas instituciones como su naturaleza, creación y marco normativo, y analizaremos sus funciones. Con base en lo anterior, determinaremos si tienen las mismas funciones y si persiste la necesidad de que ambas instituciones sigan ejerciendo el control, la vigilancia y el seguimiento de las actividades de explotación de los recursos naturales y preservación de medio ambiente en nuestro país, o si por el contrario, se debería prescindir de alguna de ellas.es-ES
