Its etiology is unclear, its clinical manifestations are rare and of- ten are discovered incidentally on physical examination or imaging of the abdomen. This clinical case corresponds to a young girl with giant epidermoid cyst treated with open splenectomy. In addition to the report, we reviewed recent literature. | en-US |

Su etiología es confusa, sus manifestaciones clínicas son escasas y muchas veces se descubren incidentalmente en un examen fisico o imagenológico del abdomen. El presente caso clínico corresponde a una joven con quiste epidermoide gigante tra- tado con esplenectomía abierta. Además del reporte, se realiza una revisión bibliográfica de la literatura reciente. | es-ES |
