Modelo de gestion de contenidos virtuales en la facultad de ingenieria de sistemas de la Universidad Libre

Abstract

Este proyecto surgió a partir de la necesidad de la Universidad Libre y específicamente del programa de Ingenieria de Sistemas en donde se buscaba cambiar la cultura de algunos Docentes y Estudiantes sobre la Virtualidad y apoyar las clases presenciales que se imparten actualmente en la Universidad por medio del uso de nuevas tecnologías que están al servicio de la Educación; pretendiendo entrar en el entorno de la Virtualidad. Para lo cual se debió analizar la problemática, determinar con los usuarios los requerimientos para llegar a una solución creando un modelo de gestión de cursos y contenidos virtuales específicos y acorde a los lineamientos de la Universidad. La herramienta utilizada para el desarrollo y la implementación del Modelo CVUL fue Moodle debido a que su Licencia es gratuita y permite hacer modificaciones al código fuente para ajustarlo a las necesidades del proyecto; también con el fin de apoyar la presencialidad de cada una de las asignaturas mediante el uso de Tics. Adicionalmente los Docentes y los Estudiantes encuentran en este Portal un gran soporte académico, que estará disponible a cualquier hora y en cualquier lugar para cada una de las asignaturas. Para concluir se estableció en su totalidad una plataforma estructurada con sus respectivos cursos y contenidos, con el respaldo de manuales de usuario para cada uno de los roles de utilización del sistema This Project arose of the necessity of the Libre University and specific of the Systems Engineer Program where it found to change the culture of some teachers and students about the virtuality and support the pressenciality classes that the University gives through the use of new technologies that are in the service of education. This pretends enter to the virtality environment. Besides, it did analyst the problem and determinate with the users the requirements to reach a solution in order to create a model management of the courses and the specific virtual content that have to stay at the politics of the University. The skill used for the development and the implantation of the CVUL model was Moodle, because the license is free and it allows doing some modifications on the source code for adapt the necessities of the project. Also to support the pressenciality of each one of the subject that use Tics. Teachers and students have an extensive support academic in this web site that will be able at the time and the place that they will need for each subject. To conclude, we establish a structure plataform in its totality with the respective courses and contents with the support of the user’s manuals for each one of the rolls of using the system.
