Georreferenciación del inventario de emergencias y de la actualización del inventario de desastres del municipio de Pereira para el periodo 2001 – 2008 y 2005 - 2008 respectivamente.

Abstract

Dentro de un marco de eventos catastróficos la ciudad de Pereira se presenta como una zona de alto número de acontecimientos de esta índole, y al presentarse un número bastante considerable de estos hechos, se deben sistematizar u organizar de modo que permita detallar de manera clara el suceso ocurrido, y dar paso a establecer medidas necesarias para minimizar los pormenores que estos generan; es por eso que con el presente trabajo se realiza el inventario y organización de la información recolectada, actualizando los sucesos que presenten mayor relevancia, así mismo se georreferencian dichos datos previamente sistematizados correlacionando las bases de datos, permitiendo establecer el análisis respectivo. En ese orden de ideas la información será tratada bajo la concepción y metodología del Sistema de Inventarios de Desastres – DesInventar, en primera instancia recolectada de forma análoga estableciendo el inventario de las emergencias reportadas (años 2001 a 2008) y los desastres de los últimos tres años (2005 a 2008) del municipio, dando paso al diseño y realización de la base de datos digital por medio del programa FILE MAKER Pro 4.0 herramienta útil para el manejo de base de datos, prosiguiendo con la georreferenciación por medio del programa ARC VIEW 9.2 de cada uno de los eventos ocurridos y finalmente esclareciendo un análisis detallado lógicamente por medio de gráficos estadísticos que permita destacar los aspectos mas relevantes de esta investigación. Dicha investigación busca de modo que al necesitar dichos datos, sus registros sean veraces, y se tenga celeridad a la hora de la consecución de la información además de realizar el proyecto de grado para la obtención del titulo de Ingeniería Ambiental. Es conveniente mencionar que con la elaboración se busca implementar medidas que mitigan las falencias presentadas en cuanto a la inconsistencia de la información, procedimientos y estrategias realizadas, además de instaurar una herramienta útil de planificación. Within a framework of catastrophic events, the city of Pereira is presented as an area with a high number of events of this nature, and when a fairly considerable number of these events occur, they must be systematized or organized in a way that allows a clear detail of the event occurred, and give way to establish necessary measures to minimize the details that these generate; That is why with this work the inventory and organization of the information collected is carried out, updating the events that present the greatest relevance, likewise said previously systematized data is georeferenced by correlating the databases, allowing to establish the respective analysis. In that order of ideas, the information will be treated under the conception and methodology of the Disaster Inventory System - DesInventar, in the first instance collected in an analogous way establishing the inventory of the emergencies reported (years 2001 to 2008) and the disasters of the last three years (2005 to 2008) of the municipality, giving way to the design and implementation of the digital database through the FILE MAKER Pro 4.0 program, useful tool for database management, continuing with georeferencing through the ARC VIEW 9.2 program of each of the events that occurred and finally clarifying a logically detailed analysis by means of statistical graphics that allows highlighting the most relevant aspects of this investigation. This research seeks so that by needing said data, their records are truthful, and there is speed when obtaining the information in addition to carrying out the degree project to obtain the title of Environmental Engineering. It is convenient to mention that the elaboration seeks to implement measures that mitigate the shortcomings presented in terms of the inconsistency of the information, procedures and strategies carried out, in addition to establishing a useful planning tool.
