dc.descriptionThis article presents the results of the identification and analysis of factors related to the consumption of psychoactive substances in the ITSA university institution, in the municipality of Soledad, Atlántico Department, Colombia. The research was based on describing the magnitude of consumption in terms of prevalence and incidence, estimating the incidence rates of substance use; that is, to know the number of new consumers and determine their relationship with sociodemographic factors. a qualitative analysis type survey Arias (2000) was used. On the other hand, Bavaresco (2004: 98), The age of onset of tobacco consumption is 16.5 years. The age of onset of marijuana use is 17.0 years. The findings of this study identified an epidemiological reality that will allow the development of addiction prevention strategies in adolescents.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este artículo se presentan los resultados de la identificación y análisis de factores relacionados con el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas en la institución universitaria ITSA, del municipio de Soledad, Departamento del Atlántico, Colombia. La investigación se basó en describir la magnitud del consumo en términos de prevalencia e incidencia, estimar las tasas de incidencia de consumo de sustancias; es decir, conocer la cantidad de nuevos consumidores y determinar su relación con los factores sociodemográficos. Se utilizó un análisis cualitativo tipo encuesta Arias (2000). Por otro lado, Bavaresco (2004: 98), La edad de inicio del consumo de tabaco es de 16,5 años. La edad de inicio del consumo de marihuana es de 17,0 años. Los hallazgos del presente trabajo identificaron una realidad epidemiológica que permitirá elaborar estrategias de prevención de adicción en los adolescentes.    es-ES
