| dc.description.abstract | Esta monografía contiene un documento recomendado basado en la técnica de radiografía computarizada (CR), incluyendo un procedimiento recomendado apoyado en el código API 1104. Este escrito se fundamentó en la aplicación de una entrevista no estructurada, dirigida a los inspectores que aplican este ensayo en Colombia para determinar el conocimiento actual que existe sobre esta tecnología en las empresas de inspección colombianas; comprobando que se presentan confusiones en cuanto a los tipos de ensayos radiográficos existentes [convencional (RT), computarizado (CR), digital (DR) y tomografía (CT)], conceptos básicos de la técnica (SNR, BSR y rango dinámico), uso de accesorios (filtros) para disminuir radiación secundaria y retrodispersa, manejo de indicadores de calidad adicionales y falta de datos en los reportes de inspección. Con esta información obtenida, se escribió el documento recomendado acompañado del procedimiento de inspección basado en normas ASTM, ISO y el código API 1104, teniendo en cuenta las falencias de conceptos encontradas y proponiendo un documento organizado, de forma tal que la información básica para llevar a cabo el ensayo se encuentre en un solo lugar y de fácil comprensión | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | This monograph contains a recommended document based in the Computed Radiography Technique (CR); it includes a recommended procedure supported in the API 1104 code. This text was based in the application of a non-structured interview, addressed to the inspectors that apply this test in Colombia for determine the actual knowledge that exists about this technology in the Colombian inspection companies; checking that confusions are presented in terms of the types of radiographic testing [conventional (RT), computerized (CR), digital (DR) and tomography (CT)], basic concepts of the technique (SNR, BSR and dynamic range), use of accessories (filters) to decrease the secondary radiation and backscattered, use of additional quality indicators and lack of data in the inspection reports. With this obtained information, it wrote the recommended document accompanied of the inspection procedure based in ASTM, ISO standards and the API 1104 code, taking into account the lack of concepts encountered and proposing an organized document, so that the basic information to carry out the test is in one place and easy to understand | Eng |
