| dc.description.abstract | El Código de Seguridad y Convivencia (Ley 1801 de 2016) no responde a las necesidades de los felinos y caninos, así como tampoco a la Constitución Ecológica y al ordenamiento jurídico de bienestar y protección animal, puesto que, en primer lugar, es cuestionable si los animales pueden ser considerados como bienes susceptibles de venta o si en su condición de seres sintientes deben tener otro trato. En segundo lugar, si es coherente que no se apliquen medidas correctivas a las actividades económicas mencionadas por contrariar lo dispuesto en la normativa y jurisprudencia de bienestar y protección animal, ya que sólo el Código y normativa relacionada únicamente contempla la suspensión de la actividad u otras medidas con fundamento a las disposiciones del derecho policivo desarrollado en la ley 1801 de 2016. | spa |

Firstly, it is questionable whether animals can be considered as goods subject to sale or if, as sentient beings, they should be treated differently. Secondly, it is inconsistent not to apply corrective measures to economic activities mentioned that contravene the provisions of animal welfare and protection regulations and jurisprudence, as only the Code and related regulations solely contemplate the suspension of the activity or other measures based on the provisions of the police law developed in Law 1801 of 2016. | spa |
