dc.description.abstractEste artículo analiza la cadena de valor dentro de la cadena de suministro de las pequeñas y medianas empresas “pymes” del sector construcción en Bogotá. A través de una metodología cuantitativa basada en encuestas, se identifican los principales desafíos logísticos, el uso de tecnología, las relaciones con proveedores y el nivel de capacitación del personal. Los resultados evidencian ineficiencias en la entrega de materiales, en los sistemas de almacenamiento y en la planificación logística, afectando el desempeño y la sostenibilidad empresarial. Se proponen estrategias como alianzas estratégicas, adopción tecnológica y cultura de mejora continua. Optimizar la cadena de suministro es clave para la competitividad y el crecimiento de las pymes.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThis article analyzes the value chain within the supply chain of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the construction sector in Bogotá. Through a quantitative methodology using surveys, the main logistical challenges, technological adoption, supplier relationships, and personnel training are evaluated. The results indicate inefficiencies in material delivery, storage systems, and logistics planning, which impact operational performance and sustainability. Recommendations include strengthening strategic alliances, adopting technology, and fostering continuous improvement practices. Optimizing the supply chain is essential for the competitiveness and long-term growth of SMEs in the construction industry.spa
