dc.description.abstractLa investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la implementación de actividades basadas en canciones para la enseñanza de vocabulario en inglés a una adulta mayor de 70 años. Los constructos teóricos fueron fundamentales para desarrollar hipótesis y modelos teóricos. En el presente proyecto se destaca la música como instrumento de aprendizaje, la andragogía y finalmente el vocabulario en inglés. El enfoque empleado fue el cualitativo y el tipo de investigación se refirió a un estudio de caso. Los instrumentos de recolección de datos fueron: diarios de campo, reflexiones de audio y pre-test y post-test. Los resultados mostraron que la alumna experimentó un mejoramiento significativo en su conocimiento del tema, demostrando un mayor entusiasmo e interés. Las conclusiones sugieren que el apoyo de la familia y mantener un alto nivel de motivación pueden contribuir al éxito del proceso de enseñanza en adultos mayores.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThe objective of the research was to analyze the implementation of song-based activities for teaching vocabulary in English to an adult over 70 years of age. The theoretical constructs were fundamental to develop hypotheses and theoretical models. In this project, music as a learning instrument, andragogy and finally English vocabulary stand out. The approach used was qualitative and the type of research referred to a case study. The data collection instruments were: field diaries, audio reflections, and pre-test and post-test. The results showed that the student experienced a significant improvement in her knowledge of the topic, demonstrating greater enthusiasm and interest. The conclusions suggest that family support and maintaining a high level of motivation can contribute to the success of the teaching process in older adults.spa
