| spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | Floods are a natural phenomenon that is caused by various factors, mainly during long periods of rainfall. The Dosquebradas municipality has been seriously affected due to these climatic changes, which have produced major disasters in its infrastructure and in the most vulnerable communities. Floods have been a highly debated and highly relevant issue for many nations that are affected by this phenomenon, for this reason many theorists who are experts in flood prevention and control have proposed different ways to mitigate this natural phenomenon, these solutions are: Execution of digital models, relocation of the population of the affected areas, establish community actors that will be carried out by the published entities and the population to be able to have knowledge of the plans that are developed to mitigate the risk of floods, awareness of the communities through the different channels of communication such as social networks. Through the information consultation carried out in the Web of Science database with the search equation “flood risk”, 367 documents of which 223 are articles; 4 articles in book chapters; 10 early access articles; 4 articles on minutes paper; 1 correction; 1 early access fix; 15 of editorial material; 1 of early access editorial material; 1 news; 103 document of minutes and 4 of revision. Additionally, different variables referring to floods in the municipality of Dosquebradas were extracted from the Desinventar database, where a statistical analysis was carried out, corresponding to the period of time from 1944 to 2020. | spa |
