dc.description.abstractEste artículo aborda el estudio de la estimación de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) en el transporte terrestre, con el objetivo de estimar las emisiones en puntos donde no se encuentren mediciones directas. Utilizando herramientas de código abierto como scilab para realizar simulaciones y poner a prueba el modelo bajo diferentes escenarios de aforo en la ciudad de pereira, con esta información se aplico el modelo movestar, desarrollado por la Universidad de California en el año 2021, para la estimaciones de emisiones. A pesar de que se requiere validar con datos reales, las simulaciones realizadas muestran una alta dependencia de la vía con el nivel de las emisiones.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThis article addresses the study of greenhouse gas (GHG) estimation in land transportation, aiming to estimate emissions at points where no direct measurements are available. Open-source tools like Scilab were used to run simulations and test the model under different traffic scenarios in the city of Pereira. With this information, the Movestar model, developed by the University of California in 2021, was applied for emission estimates. Although validation with real data is required, the simulations conducted show a strong dependence of emissions on the road conditions.spa
