dc.description.abstractEl colegio Jorge Eliecer Gaitán cuenta con 59 años de existencia, en los cuales se ha dedicado al cuidado y enseñanza de sus alumnos , quienes por motivos de superación y aprendizaje han llegado allí, confiados en el cuidado de sus docentes , directivos y la seguridad del establecimiento, dicho colegio no ha recibido ningún mantenimiento en su infraestructura, lo que da a entender que sus estructuras y materiales han quedado obsoletas a través del tiempo, haciendo necesario un estudio patológico El objetivo es conocer a profundidad desde todos los aspectos que intervienen, desde lo general a lo particular, para poder comprenderlo y brindar una patología adecuada; Esta investigación es de gran importancia ya que permite generar una advertencia al tener en cuenta los riesgos que se presentan al conocer sobre los mismos, también genera información de las posibles causas para lograr mitigarlas.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThe pathological study of the Jorge Eliecer Gaitán school, located in the municipality of Pereira, Risaralda. It gives an in-depth knowledge of the problem from all the aspects involved, from the general to the particular, in order to understand it and provide an adequate pathology that allows generating a warning by taking into account the risks that arise when knowing about them, they also generate information of the possible causes to achieve them. A descriptive investigation is proposed, according to Salkind, it is one in which the characteristics or characteristics of the situation or study phenomenon are reviewed, based mainly on techniques such as the survey, the interview, the observation and the documentary review. (BERNAL, 2010) One of the main causes of damage to the structure of the Jorge Eliecer Gaitán school" is its age, for this reason it does not comply with the required standards and designs. It is concluded that the area intervened for the visual inspection of the school is in poor condition due to the lack of maintenance in its facilities, taking into account that it is an old construction, a situation that generates a risk to the integrity of students and teachers. A large percentage of structural pathologies can have been avoided in the school with an inspection carried out in due time and by qualified personnel. The school, throughout its existence, has not undergone any structural reinforcement. Structural damage to the school is a risk for students and teachers, since it does not meet any design standard, diseases are observed in the steel due to exposure to the elements, cracks in walls and column failures. The government entities, responsible for the school, do not allocate a budget for the analysis of structural pathologies or for a plan to improve them.spa
