Innovación en el proceso operativo para cargas marítimas de la compañía Interworld Freight Ltda.

Abstract

El sector del comercio exterior es uno de los más importantes en la economía de un país puesto que por medio del funcionamiento de este se controla la balanza comercial de una nación. Es por ello que todos sus integrantes buscan siempre tener el porcentaje más alto de participación dentro de él, partiendo del más importante el gobierno, sin embargo, no se puede olvidar los actores que dinamizan esta actividad, entre ellos: los agentes de aduanas, las navieras y los agentes de carga. El presente trabajo brinda una propuesta de mejora a la compañía Interworld Freight LTDA, enfocada en el proceso operativo internacional y nacional que opera para cargas marítimas. La finalidad identificar las falencias por medio de una evaluación comparativa de procesos internos con los externos establecidos por los entes reguladores del comercio exterior en Colombia. Para ello, se realizara un análisis al proceso operativo de la compañía en el manejo de cargas marítimas de diferentes origines con destino a Buenaventura; en la observación a dicho proceso se pretende encontrar en que eslabón de la cadena falta organización y claridad para cada función designada y realizar las recomendaciones que permitan el respectivo desarrollo y eficiencia en el proceso operativo. La aplicación de la mejora en el proceso operativo de la empresa Interworld Freight LTDA, le permitirá ser un agente de carga confiable para los clientes, el retorno de utilidades sea mayor y lograr fidelización de los clientes actuales y captación de nuevos, del igual manera, reconocimiento en el sector. The foreign trade sector is one of the most important in the economy of a country since, through the operation of this one, the balance of trade of a nation is controlled. That is why all its members always seek to have the highest percentage of participation in it, starting with the most important government, however, you can not forget the actors that energize this activity, including: customs agents, Shipping companies and cargo agents. The present work offers a proposal of improvement to the company Interworld Freight LTDA, focused on the international and national operating process that operates for maritime loads. The purpose is to identify the shortcomings by means of a comparative evaluation of internal processes with the external ones established by the regulators of the foreign trade in Colombia. For this, an analysis will be made of the company's operational process in the handling of maritime cargoes of different origins to Buenaventura; In the observation to this process it is tried to find in which link of the chain lack organization and clarity for each designated function and to make the recommendations that allow the respective development and efficiency in the operative process. The application of the improvement in the operational process of the company Interworld Freight LTDA, will allow it to be a reliable load agent for the clients, the return of profits is greater and to obtain loyalty of the current clients and capture of new, Recognition in the sector.
