Análisis bibliométrico del hormigón en Sudáfrica

| dc.description.abstract | El hormigón o concreto es un material de construcción por excelencia, siendo uno de los más utilizados para el desarrollo de diferentes tipos de infraestructura, esto gracias a sus distintivas características como su resistencia a la compresión, versatilidad, durabilidad y economía. Sudáfrica es uno de los países donde la expansión urbana y la arquitectura ha tenido un apogeo indispensable para el cumplimiento del programa de desarrollo del país. esto hace que sea muy importante revisar la literatura sobre la industria cementera sudafricana; además, está justificado evaluar los retos de la investigación sobre el hormigón a través de las lentes de la eficiencia productora y el rendimiento medioambiental, ya que la industria, entre otras cosas, se enfrenta a enormes presiones en sus necesidades de suministro a la economía y la sociedad en general. Por lo tanto, este articulo tiene como objetivo recopilar y analizar información científica a través un análisis bibliométrico, con el fin de determinar las contribuciones que han hecho diferentes autores a nivel mundial, para ello se utilizó la base de dato Scopus obteniendo 892 documentos registrados del el año 1969 al 2022, del mismo modo la herramienta de código abierto bibliometrix permitió tener un resultado cuantitativo de las diferentes variables que se presentó en la búsqueda, como la producción científica anual, afiliaciones más importantes, fuentes más relevantes, países más citados con mayor número de publicaciones y autores con mayor aportes a nivel mundial, para complementar ese estudio el software Vos Viewer permitió conocer el impacto y la fuerza de enlace que han tenido los países, los autores y las palabras más relevante, todo esto con el fin de analizar el desarrollo que ha tenido el tema a nivel mundial; donde el periodo con mayor influencia en la producción de artículos fue entre (2006-2021) destacándose países como Sudáfrica y Estados Unidos que aportan el 75 % del total de las publicaciones realizadas, del mismo modo sobresale el autor Mark G. Alexander Ingeniero Civil con 26 publicaciones, perteneciente a la University of Cape Town la cual tiene un impacto considerable en la investigación con 68 publicaciones, reconocida por su excelencia académica y su compromiso con el cambio social y el desarrollo, de la misma manera sobresale el autor Henrik Ernstson con el documento más citado a nivel mundial (327) Urban Transitions: On Urban Resilience and HumanDominated Ecosystems. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | Concrete or concrete is a construction material par excellence, being one of the most used for the development of different types of infrastructure, thanks to its distinctive characteristics such as its resistance to compression, versatility, durability and economy. South Africa is one of the countries where urban sprawl and architecture have had a heyday that is indispensable for the fulfillment of the country's development agenda. this makes it very important to review the literature on the South African cement industry; moreover, it is justified to assess the challenges of concrete research through the lenses of production efficiency and environmental performance, as the industry, among other things, faces enormous pressures in its supply needs to the economy and society in general. Therefore, this article aims to collect and analyze scientific information through a bibliometric analysis, in order to determine the contributions that different authors have made worldwide, for which the Scopus database was obtained, obtaining 892 registered documents. from the year 1969 to 2022, in the same way the bibliometrix open source tool turned out to have a quantitative result of the different variables that were presented in the search, such as annual scientific production, most important affiliations, most relevant sources, most cited countries with largest number of publications and authors with the greatest contribution worldwide, to complement this study, the Vos Viewer software proved to know the impact and the strength of the link that the most relevant countries, authors and words have had, all this in order to analyze the development that the issue has had worldwide; where the period with the greatest influence on the production of articles was between (2006-2021), highlighting countries such as South Africa and the United States that contribute 75% of the total publications made, in the same way the author Mark G.
